After Work Surf

 

With Spring just around the corner the opportunity to head out for a session after work is looming.  Thursday saw  the first after surf work for me with a small swell upon us, looking to disappear by late Saturday.

4ft Sets with a beautiful sunset over the Lammermuir hills, sweet. The surfing however was very poor on my part.

The East Coast Surf will really start to kick off following the change in the clocks and the temperature. Beaches will begin to  get crowded particular on the weekends. 

For those fairly new to surfing its important that you understand the etiquette of surfing. This will probably stop you from getting seriously injured by another surf or better still avoid lots of verbal abuse from other surfers.

 I would also strongly advise that ALL surfers get themselves covered by Public Liability Insurance.  The busier the beaches the more likely the chances of injury to yourself or more importantly others.
