Anyone who saw the band last weekend will know that a good time was had by all - isn't it always like that???

Not a lot of dancing on Friday in Macnabs but that just meant we got to hear some great ballads for a change. By the way, the new Christy Moore song I mentioned is called 'The Contender' and is about the life of a boxer (I'll need to find out his name from Kenny). He finished the night off with a lovely version of 'Flower of Scotland', sung in a much slower tempo than usual. It was excellent.

I hear the gigs on Saturday were jam packed as usual. As well as the usual suspects, there was also a group of walkers who were doing a sponsored walk from John o Groats to Lands End. They loved it!
