Hey there peeps! How's it going???? All set for Valentine's Day??? No??? Me neither!!! As it happens, it's my mam's birthday on Monday and she'll be 79 this year so that's much more important to me! No offence to my other half, but if I'm buying flowers, Mam's getting them..........

This weekend is when everyone gets in on the act with flowers, presents, dinner out etc, but if you're one of the (un)lucky single people you can spend your money on something you actually want!!

So. if you're out and about this weekend, why not take your loved one to the Gellions for the Saturday afternoon ceilidh at 5pm and listen to Schiehallion belting out some of your favourite songs and tunes?! If you fancy a smooch, the band will play some lovely slow stuff for you. 

If it's too busy in the Gellions, or too early for you, how about walking over the bridge to Macnabs. Schiehallion are there on Saturday night from 9:30pm until after midnight and there's usually a wee bit more space for dancing!

Sunday is, as always, the Recovery Session in the Gellions from 5pm until 8pm. Less hectic than Saturdays, but well worth popping in after you've shopped for your loved one's Valentine's present!!!
