Welcome

I never intended to be a mum. certainly not a stay at home mum. I intended to be footloose and fancy free, travelling the world and having a killer career as a Chartered Engineer. But here I am, a stay at home mum and I haven't set foot in an office since shortly before my daughter was born. And the most technical thing I've done is investigate the banging noise in my car.

It was my husband who coined the phrase, elbow deep in baby poop "being a parent is all about the poops, pukes and giggles", he was still giggling too!

Being a parent is exhausting, particularly to two under two, but it's also immensely rewarding, and funny. I can honestly say that I've never laughed so much as this past couple of years. So I thought I'd share some of the funny stories - and probably some that aren't so funny but are hopefully relatable.

The banging noise in my car was my coffee cup, I'd left it on the roof of the car as I'd driven home. Being a parent is exhausting, have I mentioned that already, I'm blaming that for the coffee cup, but I wouldnt change a thing! I didn't even need to change my coffee cup!
