Terms and Conditions
Deposit of £ 50 (non-refundable) payable at time of booking.
Remainder of payment must be made 7 days before booking, we DO NOT accept payment on the day of party.
Payment required in full if booking party within 7days of party.
In the unlikely event that we are unable to attend your party, you will be offered either a full refund or an alternative future party date.
If you cancel your party within 7 days of booking, you can choose an alternative date or forfeit 50% of full payment
Please ensure there are no obstructive trees with hard branches, low bridges or width restrictions on the route to where the bus is to be parked.
Parking space, access, payment & permits for parking remains the responsibility of person booking the party
An alternative parking space should be found by person booking.(as backup)
If we are unable to carry out your party due to parking restrictions/vehicle access on the day of your party, 50% of full payment is still payable. An alternative date may be offered, based on availability and at the discretion of your party organiser
Any delay due to unsuitable parking arrangement or vehicle access will be deducted from party time.
You should have at least 2 people over 16 who are familiar to the children to join in the fun on the bus
All allergies to food and products must be made known to staff and be filled out on booking form. It is the responsibility of the person booking the party to make this known to us.

When children board the play bus all shoes are to be removed and stored in
the shoe pockets provided.
Socks are to be worn at all times.
No sharp objects, food or drink is to be taken into the soft play area, food
and drink is to be consumed at the tables only.

All our team are CRB, and like any business we hold all the necessary insurance and company policies. Burtha has tax, and insurance like any other vehicle, so she can park at the kerbside. We unfortunately do not have super powers so we still cannot park on corners, junctions or on double or single yellow lines and on any other parking restriction; SORRY!

CCTV and camera systems for buses and coaches have come
a long way
CTV and camera systems have
become, it can be argued, an
invaluable asset to the bus and
coach industry. It is no longer
just being installed for compliance
reasons only. It has been proven
to save thousands of pounds in
false insurance claims and driver
training. Chris Peat has contacted
a number of suppliers to find out
what operators are fitting in terms
of this technology and what we
can expect from it in the future.
Synectics
Operators are looking for a CCTV system
that can protect drivers, passengers
and the general public alike, whilst
using it as a tool to help protect their
bottom lines, according to Synectics.
Synectics’ Technology Director, Dan
Jackson, said, ‘The latter has become
so important, that we now get asked
to install systems which provide
maximum reliability, automatic system
health checks and sophisticated
integration of CCTV with other onboard
systems such as telematics and
CANbus data through our transport
management platform, Synergy 3.’
When installing CCTV, Synectics
has found operators are requesting
specifications that can integrate with
third party or legacy hardware. The
systems it installs can be configured
to display incidents of excessive
accelerations within the cab, instantly
alerting the driver to when they need
to modify their driving. Back at the
depot this data can be overlaid on
CCTV footage, exported via 4G or
Wi-Fi connectivity. The company finds
customers also want CCTV that can
proactively help drivers avoid collisions,
with the installation of external cameras
that can be streamed to the monitor
in the driver’s cab. Operators are
requesting failover protection, which can
improve the availability of footage even
if a piece of equipment fails.
Over the last year, its customers have
seen huge benefits from including IP
cameras within their CCTV set ups. An
IP camera captures HD quality footage,
covering larger areas in a higher
resolution than analogue cameras. Dan
said, ‘When installing CCTV systems,
we are generally being asked for a
mixture of IP and analogue in the same
specification. IP cameras are most
likely to be installed in the driver’s cab
and as a forward facing external view
camera (mounted inside to reduce
damage and increase visibility), where
greater footage clarity is required. When
camera resolution and processing
power increases, greater clarity will
enable us to build in operational tools
such as ANPR number plate recognition,
passenger counting and other analytics.’
More customers are now requesting
automatic footage download when
vehicles return to the depot, which
saves times and reduces human error.
As the mobile network moves towards
5G capability, it believes customers
will switch to ad-hoc live streaming of
footage from vehicles to gather instant
driving data. With 85% of vehicles now
fitted with CCTV, the coach and bus
market is generating huge amounts of
data. Ongoing trends towards more
cameras per vehicle and higher quality
images, as well as the industry wide
transition from analogue to IP, mean
data collected by operators is increasing
exponentially. Dan said, ‘We believe that
operators with large and complex fleets
will view cloud storage of data as more
and more attractive, therefore we are
developing Synergy 3 Transport to work
with the cloud, delivering an immediate
reduction in internal infrastructure
and management requirements.’
Dan said, ‘CCTV in general is
moving away from footage capture
and becoming about data capture.
What operators want, and what we’re
doing, is working on cracking open the
CANBus and all the valuable data it
holds. Imagine what we could do if we
could dive deeper and tap directly into a
vehicle’s brain!’
Vision Techniques
All round vision is proving popular with
customers of Vision Techniques. The

a vehicle, achieved by plugging four
cameras pointing across all sides of
