The Harrows Darts UK Team Tournament is the biggest 4-man team event in the UK and is being hosted by Rileys Darts Zones. The event is brand new and it comes on the back of the hugely successful Harrows Darts Doubles Tournament which attracted over 1000 entries.
Amateur darts players are invited to enter a 4-man team, with local qualifiers taking place at Rileys Darts Zones across the UK between 28 May – 21 June. The winners of the local qualifiers will go on to compete in the Regional Finals on July 10th with the Grand Final taking place on 6 August.
Robert Pringle, Sales & Marketing Director of Harrows said: “The number of entries for the Doubles Tournament was fantastic. With over 1,000 entries for a new event this demonstrates the huge impact darts has on the sports world today! We expect the UK Team event to be even bigger - although it’s a competitive tournament with a lot of money at stake it also involves a social element. The Rileys Darts Zones are great, they‘ve got the facilities and provide the perfect environment for an event such as this.”
It’s £20 per team to enter a team of 4 plus 2 reserves and anyone interested can register online at www.rileys.co.uk/tournaments or visit a local Rileys for an application form. Closing date for entries is 23 May 2011
