I am nine years old and I live on a croft.

Crofting is very small farming. Crofters have less animals in a more spead out area than farmers. I have hens, ducks, a pony, sheep and cows on my croft.

My favourites are the hens and ducks because they are very funny  (the ducks especially)

This is my hens. Henrietta, Penny, Minnie and Emily. Henrietta is my favourite hen. They are a type of hen called  black rocks . I am very good to them and they lay eggs  for me every day.

This is my ducks. They are Indian runner ducks. The ducks are mischievous, they lay their eggs all over the croft. It is annoying.

 

 

This is Bow. She is a small Shetland pony, she is very strong.

 

 

 

This is my sheep. They are very nice Hebridean sheep, they have black wool but they are going grey. I feed them by hand but they are a bit shy.
