Welcome to the North Skye Kayak Club website.......

We are a new club formed in January 2010 and situated in the north of the Isle of Skye which is on the northwest coast of Scotland. The map on the right shows our location as Loch Bay which just happened to be the first place the club paddled from in March 2010. There are so many launch sites in the north that we do not have a permanent base, locations for our trips will always be posted on this web-site and our members kept informed by email.

Anyone over sixteen who is interested in paddling in the amazing waters around the island are warmly welcome to contact us via the web-site. Membership is £10 per year. The club has a number of new sea kayaks, paddles, buoyancy aids, spray decks and cags which are available to beginners to enable them to get started. A small charge is made for the use of the equipment, the money collected will be used for its maintenance.

North Skye Kayak Club is affiliated to the Scottish Canoe Association.
