New Era Cruises

Our website (www.boatripinverness.co.uk) is under maintenance. In the meantime all the essential information for the 2014 season is here:

Departure from North Kessock (near Inverness), either from the beach or from the ferry pier.

For satnav enter postcode IV1 3XN.

Bus no. 26A / 26C runs approx. hourly in daytime on weekdays (and less frequently in evenings and on Sundays) between Inverness bus station and North Kessock.

Boat trips operate from May until 1 October. Departure times vary daily with tides, and trips are dependent on the weather being suitable.

Duration of the standard trip is about 40 - 45 minutes. Different length trips and charters are possible by arrangement.

The "New Era" has roll-on access for bicycles and for up to one wheelchair.

Wildlife: Dolphins and seals are seen on many of the trips. Update August 2014: Dolphin sightings at North Kessock are down somewhat compared with 2012 and 2013. There is a still a good chance of spotting them. However if seeing dolphins is your one and only reason for making the trip, you may consider a trip with another operator covering a different area. Otherwise a trip with the New Era still offers the best scenery and the quietest and most environment-friendly experience.

Fares for 2014: Adult £ 8.00 Child £ 4.00  Concessions available.

You can book a trip by phone: 07732 837216

(We regret that text messages do not seem to work reliably here at the moment.)

If you phone some time in advance your booking will be taken provisionally, to be confirmed on the day of departure or the day before departure.
