Welcome to my web site, I hope you like my work! I am an artist based in Livingston, West Lothian, Scotland. My main themes are Scottish landscapes and still lifes.

I graduated in Drawing and Painting from Edinburgh College of Art in 1982 and taught Art & Design for over 30 years before leaving teaching in June 2014 to concentrate on my own work.

I discovered the Black Isle a few years ago and spend a lot of the year in Cromarty which is the best preserved Highland village in Scotland. The light and feeling of space are something I try and capture in my work. I work mainly in acrylics but also use oil paints. I also produce etchings, drawings and photographs.
