It would be an insult to name road 'Mandela 'Way'

A reader (Letters Page) claims that the Neath south approach road is fast becoming a concrete jungle with the weeds appearing and suggest councillors should take a look.

It would indeed be an insult to name this road after the great Nelson Mandela as proposed by a certain councillor the way it is.

There have been many other suggested names for this road - but perhaps all suggestions should be aborted if it cannot be maintained to an acceptable standard

Again this is another example of what visitors see as they drive into Neath.  We all know who it reflects on.
