Here we are and it's summer holiday time, last month  seemed to go quicker than ever.  We had a sit 'n' sew at the beginning where we used our new tables which were paid for with some of the lottery money and they were great.  

At the end of the month we had a very enjoyable talk by Gwenda about her journey through the City and Guilds course and before.

The amount of work which she had put in was amazing, I think it rather put us off attempting the course, (well it did me).  The items she had made were lovely and some very unusual.  I think it was her first talk and I hope she does many more as we were all very impressed.

We have decided to run Sit 'n' Sews in July and probably August. Dates are on the calendar but are the usual 2nd and 4th Tuesdays,  except that at the end of July there will be a coffee morning first, so we will not start until 11.30am.
