We had a brilliant day on the 25th May an enthusiastic and  charming Albert Owen MP came and presented us with the cheque on behalf of the lottery fund. 'Awards for All - Wales'. 

We were very well supported both in the morning and the afternoon. Dot Sherlock came early with her fabric stall and I think we all felt like a 'child in a sweet shop' with all the different fabrics we had not seen before.

In the afternoon Dot gave us a talk which was all about her quilts. She entertained us and we all really enjoyed ourselves. I think we would have found it hard to pick anyone better for our special day.  Thank you to everyone who came to support us.
