Jenny Roberts (Menai) from Llandegai Patchers rang me the other week to see if any of our members would like to do a workshop on Saturday 8th May.  It was run by Marie Roper and called 'Liberated Patchwork'. 

I rang round but most people were already booked up, as it was last minute, so I decided that I would go and Owena came with me. 

When we arrived we met various people we knew from Llandegai, Doris, Mary and Jenny.  Jean our tutor with her friend Elizabeth was also there.  To begin with neither myself nor Owena could grasp what was wanted but as the day wore on we got the hang of it and in the end thoroughly enjoyed the day it was great fun.   My efforts will be hung in the gallery!  Everyone was very friendly and we were glad that we had gone.  I think I could be catching the workshop bug!
