Belle Wallace

Belle Wallace's work has enabled me to see how an elegantly simple framing can enhance the engagement of children and educators in their own learning to improve it.

TASC is now on its' own site.

TASC (Thinking Actively in a Social Context) For an overview of the work try this link and for a swift introduction try this new e-resource developed by the London GATE

This is TASC in Portuguese.

The connection between Belle Wallace's TASC wheel and Jack Whitehead's Living Educational Theory has opened a world of possibilities for me. The earliest description of this is in an assignment I did for a master's unit working with Jack; How can I improve my practice through ‘walking the talk’ and ‘dealing with doorsteps’?

TASC is used by a lot of schools and teachers through the authority since I first asked Belle to run a day for APEX in the authority and this can be seen in a number of the enquiries that the educators have submitted as accredited units for the master's programme run by Jack Whitehead. These can be found on his website http://www.actionresearch.net

These are  books on TASC that have been published in the UK.
