Melanie Wade is an artist based in south-east England who creates colourful and unusual paper collage paintings on canvas. Her work is inspired by organic forms and cellular structures found in the natural world.

Layers of hand-painted and hand-cut paper are applied to canvas, giving a slight low relief surface texture. The paintings are protected and sealed with a high quality varnish containing UV light stabilisers.

Please Note: No glue is used to produce these paintings.

Alongside her paintings, Melanie also creates handcrafted cards entitled MINI-WORKS. Each card is a unique, individually handcut and signed painting in its own right, ideal for framing.
