Melanie Wade is an artist based in south-east England who creates colourful and unusual paintings made from paper collage on canvas. Her work is inspired by organic forms and cellular structures found in the natural world.

Layers of hand-painted and hand-cut paper are applied to canvas, giving a slight low relief surface texture. The paintings are protected and sealed with a high quality varnish containing UV light filters.

Alongside her paintings, Melanie also creates handcrafted cards entitled MINI-WORKS. Each card is a unique, individually handcut and signed painting in its own right, ideal for framing.
