Update - August 2017: Learning Links International is currently moving the focus of our work to Wales, but at present our main office base will stay in Rothley, Leicestershire, where it is managed by our Administration Director, Sue Barnes.
Learning Links International founder and CEO, Liz Millman, now splits her time between her UK base in Caernarfon and spending time in Australia to be with her family. Liz is back in UK again at present to work on project development. Contact her on 07711569489 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
It was good to welcome Yasus Afari back in UK to support our activities in October 2016. Learning Links International has a lot to thank Yasus Afari for. Check out North Wales Black History Month and JamRy <<<<<
Check out our "sister site" here for LLI Volunteering Opportunities and Business Information. Learning Links International successfully gained the Investors in Volunteers Award. This was a great process and helped us to enable people to get involved in the projects under development.
Thanks to everyone who helped us to achieve this - great team work! We are continuing to work to these standards.
We currently have a number of our projects benefiting from the research and development work we have undertaken and our project aims are on target.
The team of Advisors and the new Board Members have really made a difference and thanks go to them, as well as to those who work with us and our great volunteers as well.
On her last visit to Jamaica (with our sister organisation "Jamaica 2000") she successfully supported applications for 6 schools here in UK and 6 schools in Jamaica to get funding for teacher visits.
Successfull links have now been established with Special Schools in Birmingham with Special Schools across Jamaica. Check out www.ukjaschoollinks.com
