Welcome to the Knox Marine Website

Knox Marine was established in June 2008 and will operate as a division of the long established W & J Knox Ltd who for a long number of years have supplied cage nets to the Aquaculture Industry.
The Marine service will offer a workboat support service to some of our existing net customers and hopefully to a wide range of new customers as the business becomes more established.
The Marine Division is headed up by Dave Hutchens, a well known face in the Scottish Aquaculture industry. He brings a wealth of knowledge to the new business having worked his way through the industry over the last 30 years at site management and operational management level.

We are a coastal workboat operations provider set up to service primarily the Aquaculture Industry on the West Coast of Scotland.

We have access to various craft from landing craft to Multicat style vessels and most things in between. If we don't operate it ourselves we work with other companies who may have the kit you are looking for.

Our newly refitted former RMAS Fleet tender supply vessel "Felsted" is now fully operational as off June 2011 and available for charter.

She has a carrying capacity of 45 tonnes between her two holds and is equipped with a Guerra marine crane of 33t/m capacity and a large 10 tonne pull capstan winch. Her manouverability is enhanced with the addition of a bow thruster. Full spec. on the "Our workboat" page.
