K Bateson Consulting is a Highland based company offering a wide range of consultancy and training services to the public and third sector. 

I’ve spent 10 years in the care sector working with adults and children and for the last three and a half years managed a successful voluntary sector project in Highland whilst assisting others in developing theirs. I have successfully raised around £700,000 since 2006 and have helped projects in Highland, Moray and the central belt to design effective structures in order to access funding more effectively. In 2006 the project I managed received acclaim as “one of the best assessed” in over 400 projects for the Approved Provider Standard issued by the Mentoring and Befriending Network. In 2007 I was a partner in developing a second project which secured the highest award ever from the Lloyds TSB Partnership Drugs Initiative. I view my success as a fundraiser to a combination of practical experience in the care sector; keen business sense and a firm grasp of the different elements required to design and promote a service.
