The Just Uz Team would like to inform any interested parties that as of December 13th 2011 the group will cease to function.
Due to unforeseen circumstances and depleted membership we have decided to call it a day.
Our members would like to say thanks to the people who have given us help and support over the years. Thanks also to the places and people that were happy to take our advice on board and make a change for the better.

Who are we?

The Just Uz Team are a group of adults with disabilities who aim to challenge disability discrimination!
Originally established at the community centre Uphall, Broxburn, West Lothian four years ago thanks to backing from Angela Knox and centre manager Marilyn Young.
Now based in the Ability Centre, Carmondean, Livingston the Just Uz Team tries to raise awareness of the needs of people with disabilities. Our main task is to challenge inequality and promote social inclusion for everyone.

What we do!

We challenge the accessibility of public services and amenities, organizations, companies and providers of education, transport, recreation and leisure to remove any barriers that have been highlighted by one of our members or any other person or carer of a person with disability in the hope of bringing about lasting improvement.
