Lynn's 'Just-in-Case' Comfort Pack

I am still in the process of constructing my site.  Please continue to visit my site.

Remember this?

my sister took this photo in Witney20 July 2007 was the day the rain fell and fell on Oxfordshire.  It was my birthday and it finished up with me spending the night in my daughter's car.

I never considered that this might happen to me.  This was something that happened to other people.

There were four of us travelling together and we never had so much as a bottle of water between us.  We had nothing to eat, nowhere to go to the toilet, nothing to keep us warm and nothing to keep us dry if we had to get out of the car.

We eventually struggled home the next morning tired and hungry and I was feeling quite unwell.

Over the next few days I began to think about what I needed, not to survive, but to give me a little comfort while I was in this situation.  I came up with my comfort pack.  I now never travel without it and neither do my family or friends.  I hope that you too will get a little comfort from my pack if you are ever in a similar situation.

See my blog to read about my whole soggy day!
