INTER FAITH EVENT
The local Bahá’ís of Inverness and immediate area recently attended an Inter Faith event in a local church hall, which was the local way of marking Inter Faith Week in Scotland.  The evening commenced with multi-faith devotional readings on peace and unity. One of the items for the evening was part of a dvd film with Scottish Government backing via Interfaith Scotland, as made largely in the USA and introduced/presented by a Scottish Bahá’í.  Other items was an interesting perspective on the Islamic Faith, a Hindu explanation on the Divali Festival, and another dvd inspired by the recent visit of the Dalai Lama in which a range of primary school children designed flags illustrating aspects of love and caring for each other and the environment.
