UNIT CONVENTION
At the beginning of December the Unit Convention was held in Inverness and the delegate election was held to choose the representative for this Unit to next year’s National Convention.  There was attendance from as far afield as Isle of Skye and Isle of Lewis to the west and Dornoch to the north, while some who could not travel sent postal ballots from as far as Helmsdale in the north and the Uist islands in the west.
There was useful consultation and resolutions passed for the attention of the National Spiritual Assembly and the Spiritual Assemblies in this Unit.
95 delegates are elected every year from 95 Units in the United Kingdom, and they go on to elect each year the National Spiritual Assembly for the UK.
