A Highland Gathering of Baha’is
On Sunday May 8th Baha’is from communities in the Inverness area travelled to Skye to meet up with the Skye Baha’is. We met in a lovely cottage, where we happily shared prayers, news, consultation and food together.
In the morning we were fortunate to have news of National Convention from our area delegate. He reported a happy and successful event with many delegates making interesting comments. He spoke of exciting plans being unrolled at the start of the new Five Year Plan inaugurated by the Universal House of Justice.
Later we were lucky to hear news of the Community Building Project that took place in Malta, over the Winter, in which several members of our community were involved for three months and are still involved. They returned with much enthusiasm and shared many ideas with us.
The day, which was imbued with a fresh spirit, ended with songs.
