A New Youth Club

This February a new initiative to help 11-15 year old youth to develop and grow positively will start locally, but inspired by an international Youth Empowerment Programme.  The youth club will commence weekly on Wednesdays in term time at the Balloch Village Hall, under the guidance of two fully “disclosed” facilitators.  It is hoped that the young people will learn together about social and moral principles, and how to gain the confidence to cope with the pressures exerted upon those of their age-group.  While serious in intent, the club undertakes a programme of exciting projects and an ethos of having fun together in creative and social activities, with a view to engaging in community projects.
