Today saw the annual match between Ardross/Alness and Invergordon for the above trophy on the Alness green.

Conditions could not have been much better for the game, slightly overcast with the threat of some drizzle but with warm temperatures.  Everyone who took part seemed to enjoy themselves.

Ardross/Alness won the match today, thus retaining the trophy, with an overall score of 99 shots against Invergordons' 73 shots, and winning 5 of the 6 rinks on the green.

We now look forward to next year when we hope that we can reverse the trend and bring the trophy back to Invergordon.
