Music Workshops at Speyfest – NEW for 2010

Speyfest is working in partnership with local Fèisean and Treacherous Orchestra to offer:-

Workshops

Saturday July 31st 1-3pm

At The Institute, Fochabers 

Workshops for musicians 12—18yrs of intermediate or advanced playing ability with opportunity to play at Speyfest on Sunday.

  Tutors: Fiddle—Adam Sutherland,  Guitar—Barry Reid,  Percussion—FraserStone                                  

Groupwork (all instruments welcome) —John Somerville and Mhairi Hall

Following these workshops Mhairi Hall will work with young musicians to prepare for a performance on Sunday.

 We hope that many will attend the Concert on Saturday eve - Treacherous Orchestra.
