What we do

Highland Museum Services Ltd is an independent museum consultancy established in 2002 and based in the Black Isle. We offer a wide range of museum management and development services including training, curatorial advice, and exhibition design and production.

Current projects include:

Caithness Horizons: advice on design, interpretation and museum standards for a new museum in Thurso due to open in 2008.

Invergordon Museum: design and production of a series of permanent display areas.

Scottish Museums Council: evaluation of the impact of the ICT Small Museums Fund on the Scottish museum sector.
