At the Executive Meeting following this visit, it was decided definitely to accept Mrs. Archbold's generous gift and on 28th February 1922, the whole matter was finally clinched. It was the day of the wedding of H.R.H. Princess Mary, as she then was. A cable was received from Mrs. Archbold saying she made a present of Foxlease to the Guide
