Welcome to the Golden Acorn AFC Website

 

 The Golden Acorn AFC is based in Glenrothes playing in the Fife Sunday Amatuer Football League.  We play our home games at Riverside Park aka The Cauldron and were founded in 2004 by the one and only Pedro Johnston.

Since our first season we have made steady progress (apart from one blip of a season we all try to forget about) and have been challenging for promotion from the 1st Division.  We have also managed to get to a few quarter finals of the local cups and our best scottish cup run is the 4th round.  Hopefully we can push on further and get the promotion we all want and manage to get a trophy.
 

Most of the lads have been with the team since the first season but we have added a few players to the benefit of the team.  Hopefully we will be around for a few more years yet as we are still reasonably young lads (some of us anyway!).  So feel free to have a look around and enjoy the site.
