Greetings from downunder
G'day
Very nice to see Amateur radio is thriving in the area around Chichester.
Seeing this website brings back good memories from the days when I was a member of the Bognor
technical communications association. This club used to exist back in the early 80's and used to have its meetings
in Aldwick. You Blokes are lucky to have
the good variety of shops selling Ham Radio gear in the UK. In Australia we are down to 3 Emporiums...but we have plenty of Antenna space!
Very Best wishes to all, Keep up the good work.

Hi Martin,

Thanks for your comments in Guestbook. Most of our group members are from around Chichester,Bognor and Pagham. Maybe some of them remember you from way back.

We have an Amateur Radio emporium fairly local to us near Portsmouth. We have lost a lot of dealers over the years but we still have plenty.

I'll post your message in our next group email and you might hear from an old acquaintance or two.

Thank you for taking the trouble to make contact.

Thank you
Have been working in the area (albeit across the water on the IoW) this week and have some great QSOs with members of Chichester Amateur Radio on GB3CC. I appreciate being made to feel so welcome and its made the hotel room evenings so much more pleasant....not to mention the huge amount I have learnt about batteries!
Sorry Im not around for the meeting night this month - but lets see what the future brings!
Looking forward to catching up each time that works brings me to the area!

Nice to have your company on the box during your stay. Look forward to hearing you from Bognor on your next venture south.
