Welcome

Our aim is to enjoy, maintain and enhance all the green spaces from Calton Hill to Montgomery Street Park by bringing local people together and working with other groups and organisations.

The varied parks and gardens of Hillside and Calton area provide much-loved breathing spaces in our city centre neighbourhood. By getting active we will take care of our parks and gardens, improve our environment and build a healthier community.

Recent News:
	The Friends next litter-pick will be on Sunday the 5th July..... 11.00 - 12.00.....meet in Hillside Crescent Gardens.... coffee and chat afterwards in Cafe Renroc.....
	Hillside Bowling Club are applying to renew their drinks license..... Under the new Licensing Laws local residents are able to ask the Licensing Board for tighter conditions to be applied to such licensed premises.... FoHCA members have prepared a pro-forma letter to the Licensing Board spelling out their worries re late night noise, security and the need for the club to listen to their neighbours' concerns... click here for more information and the pro-forma letter.
