organisational development

does your voluntary or commmunity group need some support to make sure you have everything in place?

1.                  Objects[i]

The objects of the Company are to carry on activities which benefit the community and in particular (without limitation) to deliver organisational development work to increase the capacity and skills of those working with disadvantaged communities and people in such a way that they are better able to meet the needs of their service users, and thus enable them to participate more fully in society.

[i] On the specification of the company’s objects, see [Part 5] of the Regulator’s information and guidance notes

Support new and existing voluntary and community organisations to adopt the relevant organisational structures and put the best practice processes in place

Having cost effective access to support around what processes and paperwork voluntary and community organisations will need to have in place to allow them to run a safe and effective organisation. By following good practice guidelines around what voluntary and community organisations should have in place, these organisations should find that funding opportunities are more accessible and that their service users have more confidence in using their services. Building the capacity of voluntary and community organisations will enable these organisations to better support the needy in society they work alongside.

Support voluntary and community organisations to identify and apply to relevant funding opportunities

Having more sustainable and affordable services in place for those in need, that can be easily and regularly accessed.
