Hello and welcome to the website of the ESDL (TRNC)

The East Side Amateur Darts League is run from October through to March. The league is open to any Bar, Hotel or Club to the East Side of Girne, North Cyprus. 

AGM Minutes

15th September 2016

For ease, the decisions relating to the both disciplines and the Pool and Darts have been separated.

General

1. Chairperson opened the meeting and thanked everyone for attending.

2. Bob Carnduff (Treasurer) presented the Financial Report. The balance is 1420tl. 

3. Pool and Darts Matches to commence at 8pm.

4. Competitions to be held in Pool and Darts during the holiday periods.

5. Format of Watts and Carnduff Cup to remain the same.

6. In Pool and Darts, the winners of the respective disciplines to play each other in Pool and Darts for a chosen charity. 

7. Winner of our league in Pool and Darts to play the winners of the Westside League for a chosen charity. Action to be investigated by Committee.

8. ALL TICKETS for Presentation Night MUST be paid for by the Saturday prior to the event.

9. Best Wishes to be sent on behalf of the League to Eileen Neville

    Best wishes sent to Dave Smith from the league on 19th August.

10.Recompense to bars in the event of an away team failing to show for a match ( 50tl), to be paid to the Bar owners at the home Captains discretion.

11. Action Committee to meet to discuss how rules and responsibilities interface.

12. Bob Carnduff stood down as Treasurer, due to family commitments.  He was warmly thanked by all present for his work over many years on the Committee. 

POOL

12.Proposed changes to Pool Rules as supplied to Captains were  accepted. Pool Rules will have to be revised to incorporate agreed changes. Action Martin

13.Pool to consist of 12 single games. 

14.In Pool winning team receives 2 points for a win and 1 point for a draw

DARTS

15.When playing an all female team, the female team have three jokers. The jokers are placed by the female captain against three of her players names. This will enable her players to have 100 points reduced from their score for each leg played.

16. No change to current scoring in darts matches.
