anyone in the club remember a 4 man relay team which represented East Down at the Ulster Championships in the Antrim Forum back in the late 80s.. this team punched above their weight running 2nd and 3rd at most meets to the athletic powerhouses (back then) of Striders & Ballymena n Antrim. Is there any reference to this team in the club history?? wondering if they still hold the club record for 4x100 relay??

just having a wee nosey through the site and its a great job. I cant believe the club is celebrating its 25th anniversary next year. Time runs fast!

A big thankyou to all east down supporters & marshalls yesterday in Belfast. It was great to see so many on the course and at entrance to park at a time when the going gets tough. I think 7 of us ran the first 15 together which was good. To finish yesterday in the heat was an acheivement for all concerned and a few pb's. Well done
