JULY ART EXHIBITION by Sarah Bramley

Sarah Bramley's Exhibition of paintings entitled "Haven" is on display in our upstairs gallery (disabled access available). Sarah continues to explore the themes of wrecks and religious buildings, whilst drawing fresh inspiration from the rich heritage of Scotland's fishing industry.

"The idea for "Haven" comes, quite literally, from the idea of a port or shore being a haven for the people who worked on the water, or the sanctuary of spiritual places such as Iona Abbey. A fitting title for a body of work including subject matter ranging from the Scottish coast to churches to the cosy halls of Culross Palace."
