DINGWALL FIELD CLUB
Interested in a great variety of things - natural history, history, architecture, geology , archaeology? Why not join the Dingwall Field Club? While going on field trips, mainly walks, our collective knowledge of things we observe, is shared. The outings are enjoyable. The walks are moderate in length and pace.
The winter programme includes both a monthly talk on a Thursday and a Saturday walk. Summer programmes have one evening walk and one on a Saturday, per month.
In the event of adverse weather conditions, members are advised, please, to check that meetings or walks are infact taking place.
The meeting place for all outings is No.1 Car Park, Dingwall (opposite the back of Boots).
Guests of members are welcome at Club outings and talks. Children under 16 are the responsibility of an accompanying adult.
Everyone comes at their own risk.
Admission to each event is £1.50 for non-members.
No dogs are allowed on Field Club outings.
Members and guests must follow the organiser's instructions. Leaders may, at their discretion, alter or cancel outing
On walks, members should come prepared and equipped for bad weather and some rough walking and bring sufficient food for all day outings.
The start time for outings varies, but is given by each walk on the events page.
The Annual General Meeting and all talks are held in Dingwall Lower Town Hall at 7.30pm.
Annual Membership is £8 per person, £14 per couple
