Learning Links International is pleased to be supported by the Arts Councils in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland through their Four Nations funding, to make a start on a global project to celebrate the work of Jamaican poets around the world. 

Yasus Afari, Founder and Director of the Jamaica Poetry Festival has taken the lead to bring together Jamaican poets in Jamaica and the four UK countries in this innovative project called 'Creative Collaborations' featuring recorded poetry - with links through this site.

Yasus Afari, Director of SenYAcum and Edutainment Promotion, has worked with Liz Millman, Director of Learning Links International and the Jamaica Wales Alliance, since 2007 on a range of creative collaborations over those years.

This project starts new intiatives internationally based on Yasus Afari's innovation and dedication to 'Poetry in Motion' and to the Jamaica Poetry Festival.
