WELCOME

Welcome to the home of Colburn and Richmondshire District Amateur Radio Society, where you will receive a very warm welcome at our fortnightly meetings held at Colburn Village Hall, Colburn Lane, North Yorkshire, DL9 4LZ beginning at 7.30pm (refer to map page for directions)

Whether you are a licenced or unlicenced Amateur Radio enthusiast, you are invited to join us every other Thursday, where you will meet likeminded people willing to help out, or "talk radio." Should you be unlicenced, you can join a course in preparation for the Foundation Exam, or if you are already in possession of a Foundation licence, you may want to consider being tutored for your Intermediate level. At the highest level, Advanced, we can recommend an online course, supplemented by support from our tutors. All courses are free, although there may be a charge for the room and the RSGB examination fee.
