The Coigach Ungathering 4th July 2020

As the annual Coigach Gathering is not able to take place this year it has been decided to continue in the spirit of the event with people, from near and far, being able to participate from home.

Build a Scarecrow Competition, inspired by Connie. There are 3 entry categories: under 12s, 12 – 17 and 18 & over. Best in each age group wins a £10 voucher. Please take photos of your creation and email to: coigachhall@gmail.com by 5pm on Friday 3rd July with the Scarecrow’s name, your name and which age group it’s for.

Amazing Cake Competition. Decorate a cake to show what Coigach means to you. There are 3 entry categories: under 12s, 12 – 17 and 18 & over. Best in each age group wins a £10 voucher. Found Object Art Competition: Create a piece of art from items found on your daily walk. Prizes for best pieces in each of the 3 categories: under 12s, 12 – 17 and 18 & over. In addition we have quiz sheets, guess the sweeties in the jar, win a hamper and guess the weight of the salmon. Details can be found on Achiltibuie Appreciation Society on Facebook. If you are not on Facebook and would like to take part please email coigachhall@gmail.com

Afternoon Teas: We will be offering a local delivery service of delicious homemade sandwiches, scones, meringues, brownies and cakes. £15 for 2 or £7.50 for one. To order please phone Julie on 622409 by Sunday 28th June.

No need to cook at night as food will be available to take away from Am Fuaran Bar (tel: 622339) and The Piping Café (622777 or 07593281691).
