Our Year in Pictures.

From Cameronian Day at Douglas, Neuve Chapelle Day service, Rememberance Day, Armed Forces Day parades throughout the country, meeting for a cuppa whilst befriending.

Our members take a pride in everything we attend, smartly attired and standing out in our Douglas tartan Cameronian in our trews and kilts, from a larger group at Glasgow Armed forces day to an individual at their local memorial we try to have a presence.

The 26th or Cameronian Regiment was raised in the turbulent years of the 17th century, 1689 to be precise. Being raised by followers of the Covenanting preacher Richard Cameron hence the name. To honour our heritage and history we provide the piquets and assist the Scottish Covenanters Memorial Society at dedication services at Covenanters memorials in parts of the country.

Cameronian Day the Sunday nearest to the 14th of May the Cameronians gather in the village of Douglas Lanarkshire for services throughout the day by raising the regimental flag, church service and Conventicle by the regiments memorial Cairn.
