KAREN LUEDTKE
ESALEN MASSAGE
THE TARA APPROACH
BIODANZA
EXPERIENCE :
My life journey has been greatly touched by the healing arts, inspired by my love for dance and subtle energy work. This led me to write Dances with Spiders, an in-depth study on dance, trauma and well-being in Southern Italy, based on my PhD in medical anthropology.
In 2012, I became a member of the Findhorn Foundation and, since then, am continuing to expand my research and training further into the healing arts and what it means to heal.

SPECIFIC EMPHASIS :
Three invitations to relax, de-stress and experience ourselves as ever more spacious, grounded and whole:
Esalen Massage: Whole-body integration through bodywork – this technique is characterised by long, integrating strokes and gentle stretches. It supports the natural process of unwinding to take us into deep spaces of relaxation.
The TARA Approach: A fusion of the ancient Eastern technique of Jin Shin Jyutsu with Western neuro-sciences – this subtle form of energy medicine is based on pulse diagnosis, light touch and dialogue to restore the natural flow of life energy and stimulate self-healing.
Biodanza: The Dance of Life – an uplifting blend of music, movement and genuine connection. For some it’s simply fun, for others a journey into profound growth. Through guided expressive movement, Biodanza cultivates joy, pleasure and optimism by doing what humans have been doing for millenia – dancing together!
