SPECIFIC EMPHASIS :
Narendra Mehta set up the London Centre of Indian Champissage in 1995. This form of head massage has been practised in barber shops in India for hundreds of years , but Narendra further developed this therapy to include the face, neck, upper arms and shoulders - areas that accumulate high levels of stress and tension.
He also introduced an Ayurvedic element into the massage to include work on the three higher Chakras.
This therapy is particularly beneficial for individuals suffering from sinusitis, headaches or erratic sleep. Other physical and mental benefits include promotion of hair growth, improved sleep and reducing mental tiredness and stress.
Oils such as almond, argan and coconut oil are optional and also have beneficial properties.
