Welcome to my website. The aim is to show my artwork to a wider audience and also give an insight into how I make art. I'll get round to adding pages on technique very soon. My artwork mostly falls into two areas, oils and pastels. You’ll find here work covering a few years and ranging over different themes – in the never ending search for what makes sense.

I also run art holidays and teach local students, at The Creative Retreat in Gardenstown, which I run with my wife Carla. Over the years I’ve worked with complete beginners, people looking a next step forward, and with trained, practicing artists. The common theme is helping individuals find their way, using my interpersonal skills and understanding of the creative process as often as my knowledge of art.

There is artwork here for sale, please get in touch if you are interested. I do undertake commissions and projects, as artist or as an experienced producer/ manager. I have twenty odd years experience in creating, producing and delivering arts projects and events, running companies and managing staff. Again, I'm happy to discuss, so do get in touch.
