Black Isle Words 2009

The group who organises the Black Isle Words Festival holds its annual general meeting in Fortrose Library at 7 pm on Tuesday 2nd December.

The Festival has established itself in the local cultural calendar since it began as the Cromarty Book Festival in 1999. Over the years it has been successful in attracting prominent writers and musicians. Events are now held in Fortrose and Cromarty over the Festival weekend.

Anyone who is interested in joining the team or in helping in some way to organise or run the next Festival is welcome to come along to the meeting.
