Welcome to the Bittern DXers

We are the Bittern DX Group, also known as the Bittern DXers, a club of amateur radio enthusiasts founded in 2004 and situated in North Norfolk, UK.

we are bittern dx groupOur preference leans towards field activities over formal gatherings, although we do collaborate within the club, and with other clubs in Norfolk to complement each other's endeavours. We have an active training group and offer technical assistance to our members, leading to numerous successful examination passes.

Our aim is to prioritise practical engagement, showcasing the amateur radio hobby to the public through active operation and demonstrations. We do enjoy participating in contests across various frequencies like VHF 2m, UHF 70cm, and HF 80m, utilising voice and data modes such as PSK63, FT8, FT4, and RTTY, our main focus lies in venturing outdoors and promoting amateur radio without the confines of formal meetings.
