Beverley Jones Facts

• In 1977 Bev appeared on talent show New Faces with yet another band, Formula Five

• She recorded all her records in London, always chaperoned by her parents

• She appeared on the radio show Easybeat hosted by fellow Coventrian Brian Matthews

• Also on the show were The Beatles, Bev even had the pleasure of sharing a cup of tea with John Lennon

• Beverley's life story was told in a fabulous cartoon strip in girls' magazine Judy. You can see a copy on this website (Judy Comic)

'Hear You Talking', B side to Heatwave with the Prestons -  released on Parlophone (R 5189) in October 1964. One of the Prestons wrote 'Hear You Talking' for me. He'd begun the song and I really liked it, so he finished it for me. It's my favourite of all my records because it's the one I was really able to get my teeth into.
