Brilliant counter demonstration against the fascist SDL/NEI on October 1st

A good mix of local people displayed their disgust at these racists marching through our peaceful town.

As well as a protest against the fascists it was also a celebration of the diversity and good communtiy relations of Berwick and the surronding area.

We had a good mix of songs, speeches and messages of support from organisations and local politicians.

It is vital that anti-fascism brings together the boadest possible movement.
