Welcome to my website.  I have created this to showcase my work.  I am a mainly self taught artist, other than school and a few art courses.  I studied 'A' level History of Art and Architecture and this has given me an understanding of Art and it's progression and influences throughout the ages, along with what makes a good compostion.  I get inspiration everyday from nature, our beautiful Scottish Landscapes and the changing light.  I like to try to capture these moments on paper. Watercolour is my prefered medium due to it's transparency, vibrancy and the ability of the paint to mingle and make beautiful colour transitions. I hope you enjoy looking at my work.
